Spear Marketing Group is a fast-growing B2B demand generation agency looking for a skilled marketing copywriter to help author creative, compelling content for our expanding roster of clients, including Dropbox, Amazon Pay, Google, Microsoft and SAP Concur.
Working directly with Spear’s creative director, the ideal candidate must have extensive experience copywriting digital, direct mail and demand generation campaigns and carry a proven track record of developing copy that sparks interest and delivers results.
- Author wide range of copy for Spear clients, including lead nurturing, paid media, direct mail, event and web campaigns
- Attend and contribute to internal and client meetings/presentations as needed
- Collaborate with Spear copywriters and graphic designers to ensure creative quality and efficiency
- Manage approvals and feedback with creative leadership, account management and agency clients
- Coordinate availability with internal teams to meet client deadlines
- Offer strategic guidance for improving creative or internal team processes
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, copywriting best practices and individual client guidelines
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional copywriting experience (agency experience a plus)
- Experience presenting work and pitching creative vision to internal and external stakeholders
- Strong understanding of B2B demand generation strategy, tactics and tools
- Strong attention to detail with good communication and organizational skills
