Spear Marketing Group Announces Key Hires in Wake of Growth

Leading B2B agency adds to management team, fills other key roles as business continues uptick

Walnut Creek, Calif. – June 4, 2018. Spear Marketing Group, a leading B2B demand generation agency, announced two key additions to its management team and reported that it has beefed up staff across the company in the wake of significant growth.

Gina Miller is the firm’s new Vice President, Account Development, responsible for client strategy and driving expanded relationships at existing accounts. Miller brings more than 25 years of client and agency experience including marketing management roles at RealNetworks, Avolent, and EFI. She has a particular expertise in leading client strategy and best practices for demand generation, marketing automation, lead nurturing, and email marketing.

Ben Stephenson is Spear’s new Creative Director, managing the firm’s in-house writing team and driving overall creative strategy for Spear’s B2B clients. Stephenson’s multi-faceted career includes more than 20 years’ experience directing content and creative for leading technology, fintech, ecommerce and professional sports organizations. Most recently he was Marketing Content Manager at Ellie Mae, a leading cloud-based platform for the mortgage finance industry.

Separately, Spear reported that it has also added staff in copywriting, technical production, graphic design, and client services to keep pace with the firm’s rapid growth. Through April, the agency said its sales increased 33% over the same period in 2017, on the heels of a record Q4.
