Spear Marketing Group Campaign is “Killer Content Award” Finalist

B2B demand gen agency recognized for integrated campaign that generated 500+ leads


Walnut Creek, Calif. – January 11, 2017. Spear Marketing Group, a leading B2B demand generation agency, has been selected as a finalist for a “Killer Content Award” at the 2017 B2B Content2Conversion conference in Scottsdale, Arizona. It’s the second year in a row that the firm has been recognized by the same award competition.

Spear is a finalist in the Packaged/Bundled Content category for its work with Origami Logic in developing an integrated marketing program that tracked and measured which brands were executing “gold medal” campaigns during the 2016 Rio Olympics. The results were featured on a custom-built microsite, which generated more than 200 subscribers (leads) from 159 companies, more than 50 percent of which were from Origami’s target list of key accounts. Spear also designed and produced a 30-page ebook (“The Brand Olympics 2016 Report”) that extended the life of the campaign and generated more than 300 additional leads through email, social media, and online
