Agency doubles in size as business balloons, despite down economy
Walnut Creek, Calif. – January 11, 2011. Spear Marketing Group, a full-service marketing agency, reports that it more than doubled its staff in 2010 as the firm experienced a surge in new business. Highlights of the year included:
- Expanded staff 250 percent, from 8 to 21
- Added major new clients, including iDirect, NetSuite, and Google
- Signed partnership agreements with Marketo and Clickability
- Launched agency blog “The Point,” attracting more than 1,000 email subscribers
“We’re particularly excited about the potential for our new partnerships,” said Howard Sewell, Spear President. “More and more, technology is playing a large role in clients’ marketing activity, and we’re seeing significant demand for strategic counsel, campaign development, and creative execution, particularly in areas like marketing automation and Web content management.”
“When we founded Spear, we wanted to focus on the type of marketing that makes a real difference to our clients’ bottom line,” commented Matt Randolph, Spear CEO. “It’s hugely gratifying to see that philosophy validated in what has been a spectacular year for the agency. I’m immensely proud of the hard work our entire team put in to make us this successful.”
